Sam Green

Managing Director

Sam’s passion for helping people, and his qualifications including a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, NEBOSH Construction and Asbestos Management, means he can serve small businesses struggling with health and safety, which he finds extremely rewarding. When he’s not working, Sam likes to spend time with his family and get outdoors, cycling and exploring new places and new experiences.  Sam is currently studying to become a Chartered Member of IOSH.

Jacqui Green

Human Resources Consultant and Director

Qualified to Level 7 in HR, a CIPD award in employment law, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Jacqui has over 16 years’ experience in HR.  Before joining the family business, Jacqui held senior roles, working for a number of prestigious organisations including The English Golf Union, Renault UK and the National Examination Board for Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH). Jacqui can help your business to be legally compliant, providing expertise in a wide range of areas including recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, absence issues, mediation, occupational health and performance management.

Carolyn Knapp

Business Support and Bookkeeper

Carolyn joined Greens in December 2017. Carolyn has 30 years of accounting experience in various industries, culminating with a Finance Manager role with a multinational company.  Carolyn has a Business Degree and achieved an AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting. In her spare time Carolyn enjoys yoga, cooking, and socialising with family and friends.

Emma Harris

Health & Safety Consultant

Emma has a broad range of health, safety and risk management skills, she has a Degree in Psychology and started her career in retail where she completed her NEBOSH General. After this she worked for a medium sized construction company providing health and safety support. Working with Greens Consultancy Services she has achieved CMIOSH status and qualifications such as Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, NEBOSH Construction and NEBOSH Fire Safety.  Emma enjoys working with her clients to help them navigate the minefield of Health & Safety.  In her spare time Emma enjoys trying new and different sports and travelling.

Andrew Burbage

Health & Safety Advisor

Andrew joined Greens in December 2017 after 15 years in the Plant and Tool hire industry where he worked as a Senior Branch Manager and completed his NEBOSH General Certificate. Having managed a branch, he enjoys all aspects of Health and Safety and is dedicated to increasing his knowledge and giving high levels of customer service to our clients. Andrew also has a Degree in Natural Science along with additional qualifications he has achieved over the years such as a Level 3 teaching qualification and currently has Cert IOSH status.  Most recently Andrew gained a specialist qualification as a Fire Risk Assessor.
In his spare time Andrew helps running a football club along with spending time with his wife and 3 young sons and 1 daughter.

Julie Hayward

Health & Safety Consultant

Julie joined Greens Consultancy Services in January 2019 with a desire to continue to grow her skills and to support your business, Julie will use her knowledge, experience and apply a methodical and logical approach. Julie started her journey in Health and Safety in 2011 where she worked as a Health and Safety Advisor covering 23 sites in the UK  for a paper and packaging merchant, supporting functions on health and safety including, logistics, conversion and machine works, distribution and office. Julie is a Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner and is a Chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH). Additional to this Julie is a competent internal auditor, DSE assessor and manual handling instructor.

Julie is a keen motorsport fan especially F1 and BTCC, and in her spare time enjoys walking her dog and participating in dog agility and all aspects of training.

Ian Dobbie

Health & Safety Consultant

Ian joined Greens in 2020 and has worked in the Health and Safety profession for over 20 years, Ian has experience in the manufacturing, retail and construction sectors. Ian has qualifications in occupational health and safety practices and has CMIOSH status. In his free time Ian spends time with his family and supporting his grandsons swimming activities who, through the summer of 2023 competed for Great Britain in two junior European swimming competitions.

Parveen Atwal

HR Consultant

Member of the CIPD and Level 7 CIPD qualified with 14 years HR experience in both the public and private sector working for large complex organisations and smaller SME’s.

Parv studied Psychology and Sociology at Aston University where she was also awarded a further post graduate diploma in Psychology. Parv is experienced in a range of HR areas including job evaluation, policy creation and implementation, health and wellbeing and employee relations.

Parv is a dedicated mum of 3 and as well as spending time with family, enjoys socialising with friends, fitness classes and retail therapy.
