Client Safety Package

  • Health and safety advice and assistance for the Client
  • Preparation of the relevant information for the project into a Pre-Construction Information Pack
  • Attendance at the planning meeting, to ensure all safety duties are addressed
  • The collation and submission of relevant Pre-Construction Information to all parties
  • Checking the arrangements of those appointed are in place and in line with the relevant legal requirements
  • Submission of the F10 notification (if applicable)
  • Vetting proposed Principal Designers and Principal Contractors before they are appointed, to ensure their Health and Safety meets the required standards
  • A site visit to carry out a safety inspection during the project to ensure safety arrangements are being maintained to the required standards

Principal Designer Safety Package

  • Health and Safety Services for the Principal Designer
  • Preparation of the relevant information for the project into a Pre-Construction Information Pack
  • Attendance at the planning meeting, to ensure the planning, management and monitoring arrangements are in place
  • The collation and submission of relevant Pre-Construction Information to all parties
  • The coordination of health and safety during the Pre-Construction Phase
  • Checking the Principles of Prevention are implemented
  • Checking the Construction Phase Plan (produced by the Principal Contractor) is appropriate and addresses all relevant safety subjects
  • Ensuring that all parties understand their duties and responsibilities and cooperate and communicate effectively on matters relating to health and safety
  • Identifying relevant and applicable hazards and advising on suitable control and the management of them
  • Ensuring that all Designers understand and discharge their duties to address the health and safety implications arising from their specifications
  • Producing the Health and Safety File and submitting it to the client at the end of the project

Principal Contractor Safety Package

  • Health and Safety Services for the Principal Contractor
  • Preparation and maintenance of the Construction Phase Plan for the project
  • Attendance at the planning and other meetings, to ensure the planning, management and monitoring arrangements are in place
  • The production of risk assessments, as required for work carried out
  • The production of method statements and safe systems, as required for work carried out
  • Vetting sub-contractor’s safety, assessing their competence to carry out the work safely
  • Visits to the site to carry out an audit/assessment followed by a report and action plan, identifying the required actions and priorities
  • Advising on the most efficient and cost effective methods to be adopted to achieve compliance with relevant safety law
  • The provision of advice and assistance on the management of health and safety during the Construction Phase
  • Ensuring that all parties understand their duties and responsibilities and cooperate and communicate effectively on matters relating to health and safety
  • Collating and producing information for the Health and Safety File and it’s submission to the client at the end of the project
  • Checking the Principles of Prevention are implemented
